The hardest thing about climbing the ladder of success is getting through the crowd at the bottom.

Tim Harrison

Tim is a journalist and writer with decades of experience. He has worked with national and local newspapers as well as editing trade publications.

When not working for Ridgemount, Tim does freelance sports reporting, writes the community newspaper for his neighbourhood and on Thursday nights is the interactive producer on the BBC’s flagship current affairs programme Question Time.

His consequent vast knowledge of news and politics means that he is the natural point of reference to resolve office arguments – generally a faster solution than consulting Google.

Tim’s highly individual sense of humour means that he is not only a lifelong Chelsea fan, but has even written a book on the team (The Rough Guide 11s Chelsea, published by Penguin – it’s available on Amazon at the bargain price of 1p if you’re interested) while decades editing copy means his reaction to a misplaced apostrophe is scary to behold.
